About Us
Virtual Assistant & OBM Services
for ADHD Entrepreneurs
Thank you for visiting the Ambitious Assistant! We are a team of virtual assistants and online business managers who help people with ADHD stay organized, improve communication, and stay on track and up to date with their lives or business.
We help entrepreneurs with ADHD focus on what they like to do best, be less overwhelmed, and have more time available to spend with their family and friends.
The Ambitious Assistant’s mission is to serve
ADHD entrepreneurs & business owners
who feel overworked, over-extended and under-accomplished.
Our assistants & OBMs are passionate, hardworking, and personable.
We believe in investing in the people we hire and place a high value on personality and grit in addition to skill.
Best of all, of our virtual assistants are all ADHD Virtual Assistants certified.
Hey, I’m Josie
to help and serve others who struggle the way I had before being diagnosed and seeking support.
The Ambitious Assistant was started as a way to use the administrative skills I’ve developed over the last 25 years to serve and assist others with ADHD, and has quickly grown into an agency which allows us to help even more people.
I personally find great joy in helping others, and having a very non-ADHD love of all things administration and organization allows me to successfully support others in the areas that they struggle with most.
It is my passion to not only assist others with ADHD, but also to help undo the myths and stereotypes that surround us. I believe ADHD can be a unique gift, if we only learn how to unpack it.
Josie Peterson
When you are organized it allows you to focus on what you enjoy and what you do best.
If you have a business, clients will be elated and you will look like the professional you always knew you were. Friends and family will come to know they can count on you.
When you hire us, you get my 25 plus + years administrative experience supporting executives, in addition to other virtual assistants with strongly experienced backgrounds. You will be organized in no time!
We do understand that it can make us feel really vulnerable and anxious to hand work over to someone else.
It can be hard to sort out what a virtual assistant or OBM can actually do for us, and planning work for a VA or OBM in the first place can stress us out.
This is why we will support you through the entire process.
We’ll even help you determine what kinds of things you can delegate, so you don’t even have to think about that!
So, how can we support you best right now?
Meet your Assistants
