About Us
Virtual Assistant & OBM Services
for ADHD Entrepreneurs
Welcome to The Ambitious Assistant!
Where chaos meets clarity – and ADHD brains finally get the support they deserve.
We’re not your average team of virtual assistants and online business managers. We’re your executive function backup crew, your delegation dream team, your “holy hell, how did I ever do this without them?” people.
At The Ambitious Assistant, we specialize in helping ADHD entrepreneurs actually get stuff done – without burnout, shame spirals, or 47 open browser tabs yelling for your attention. Whether you’re running a fast-moving business or just trying to keep your inbox from becoming a digital landfill, we’re here to help you get organized, stay on track, and breathe a whole lot easier.
We handle the stuff that drains you – so you can focus on what lights you up.
Need someone to tame the to-dos, manage the madness, or finally build systems that make sense for your brain? That’s literally what we do.
Because let’s be real: you didn’t start your business to spend your life chasing down calendar invites and rewriting the same email for the third time. You started it because you’re brilliant. Creative. Driven. Visionary.
You just need the right support team in your corner – one that gets how your brain works, and knows how to help you thrive with it.
Our Mission at
The Ambitious Assistant
Helping ADHD entrepreneurs do life and business on their terms – with less overwhelm, more clarity, and way more breathing room.
At The Ambitious Assistant, we’re on a mission to help ADHD entrepreneurs and business owners stop drowning in admin chaos and start thriving with the kind of support that actually works for their brains.
We’re a team of highly skilled, deeply compassionate, wildly organized (and let’s be honest – kind of obsessed with color-coding) virtual assistants and online business managers who get the ADHD struggle because we live it, study it, and build our entire business around it.
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter systems, hustle culture BS, or pretending your brain should work like everyone else’s. We believe in:
- Tailored support that meets you where you are
- Systems that flex with your life and energy
- Support people you can trust, not just task-doers
- And a whole lot of ADHD-informed compassion
Our secret sauce? We build real relationships. We match each client with the right VA or OBM for their needs. And we show up with the kind of presence, care, and problem-solving magic that can only come from a team that’s been handpicked for both skill and heart.
Because at the end of the day, we know success isn’t just about checking boxes – it’s about building a business (and a life) that feels doable, sustainable, and authentically you.
What sets us apart? Every VA on our team is certified in ADHD-specific support.

Hey, I’m Josie!
Founder, chaos-tamer, & proud ADHD late bloomer.
When I was diagnosed with ADHD at 50, it was like the lights finally came on.
Suddenly, the overwhelm made sense. The exhaustion. The “how is everyone else keeping up?” feeling.
The post-it note graveyard on my desk.
Why I Started The Ambitious Assistant
That diagnosis wasn’t just a label – it was a wake-up call. And it gave me a mission.
After more than 25 years in high-level admin and executive support, I realized something: I’d been building systems my whole life to survive in a world that wasn’t built for my brain.
So I decided to flip the script.
I created The Ambitious Assistant to blend my obsessive love for structure and organization (yes, I even color-code my shoes) with a fire to support ADHD entrepreneurs in the way I wish I’d been supported.
What started as a one-woman mission is now a thriving agency of ADHD-specialized virtual assistants and OBMs – helping business owners stop spiraling and start making moves.
We get it – because we live it.
And we know how to build systems, support, and strategies that don’t just look good on paper – they actually work for ADHD brains.
But it’s about more than productivity hacks.
I’m here to smash the outdated myths and shame-filled narratives around ADHD.
It’s not about fixing yourself – it’s about understanding how your brain works and building a life that works with it.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re too much, not enough, or one step away from burning your business to the ground – you are my people. And we’ve got your back.

Ready to Delegate & Focus on What You Love?
About Our Team
We’re not just task-doers. We’re brain-supporters, chaos-wranglers, and champions of your weirdest ideas.
The Ambitious Assistant team is made up of badass virtual assistants and online business managers who are not only highly skilled at what they do – but also trained in how to support ADHD entrepreneurs with patience, empathy, flexibility, and a whole lot of get-it-done energy.
We’re the people who:
- Get genuinely excited about organizing things (even your Dropbox)
- Know how to break big ideas into manageable steps
- Speak fluent “I had a thought and forgot it mid-sentence”
- Believe your brain is brilliant — and deserves support that feels good
Each one of us brings something a little different to the table – from tech wizardry and automation skills to inbox zero sorcery and launch logistics genius.
But what unites us?
We care deeply.
We listen hard.
And we show up like the partners you didn’t know your business needed.
ADHD-trained. Detail-oriented. Human-first.
You’re not hiring robots. You’re hiring real people who’ve been handpicked for their skills and their heart – and trained to support neurodivergent business owners with exactly the kind of backup brains they need.
(And yes, we have strong opinions about digital task management tools. Want to talk Trello vs. ClickUp? We’ve got thoughts.)
This is why we will support you through the entire process.
We’ll even help you determine what kinds of things to delegate, so you don’t even have to worry about that!
So, how can we support you best right now?
Your Executive Function Dream Team
