Land Acknowledgement:

As we begin each day at The Ambitious Assistant, we do so with deep respect and gratitude, acknowledging our presence on the ancestral lands of the Hasinai Caddo people.

This land, where Rowlett, Texas, now thrives, was once a part of the extensive territories of the Hasinai, the largest tribe of the Caddo people, known for their rich cultural heritage and deep connection to the land.

We acknowledge the painful history of displacement and injustice that the Caddo and other Indigenous peoples have faced. This acknowledgment serves as a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to recognize the past and commit to a future of respect, understanding, and partnership with Indigenous communities.

At The Ambitious Assistant, our commitment extends beyond words. We strive to learn from the history and culture of the Hasinai Caddo and to support initiatives that honor and sustain Indigenous heritage and perspectives. We aim to foster a community where the enduring legacy of the Caddo Nation and all Indigenous peoples is recognized, respected, and integrated into our collective journey forward.

We are thankful for the opportunity to work on these lands and are committed to honoring the Hasinai Caddo people and their sacred connection to this region in all that we do.
